Recipe | Deep-Fried REESE'S Peanut Butter Cups

The Ultimate Valentine's Dessert

Dreaming of warmer weather? If you've ever been to a summer county fair, you know the food aisles offer an amazing array of deep fried foods. Many of them come on a stick. I've chuckled over the possibility of tasting deep fried peanut butter & jelly, deep fried avacado, twinkies,
Mars Bars, and even deep fried mac-and-cheese.

Deep fried Reese's Peanut Butter Cups has to be the most decadent culinary treat I've ever seen. If you want to warm up your sweetie's heart,
I think this would make the ultimate Valentine's dessert. Try this basic recipe at home ... if you dare!

Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
1 egg
1 tbsp oil
1 cup milk
1 cup plus 2 tbsp flour
cooking oil

Chill Reese’s Cups in freezer.
Mix eggs, oil, and milk; then beat in flour. Chill batter in refrigerator. Heat oil to 375ºF. At just over 350ºF begin dipping the first cup in the batter, then deep fry in the oil. Fry to dark golden brown on both sides and remove. Allow to cool. Repeat for each cup.
